Windows 10 – How to remove OneDrive a.k.a. I use Dropbox

It is possible, but I’m going to cover how to hide it so it doesn’t get in the way of your typical Windows experience.

If you’re either a Dropbox user or just not an OneDrive user you keep an entry in your Windows Explorer with “OneDrive” let’s get rid of that.

    o

  1. Windows Key + R
  2. o

  3. Type: regedit
  4. o

  5. Go to:
  6. o

  7. Set the value of System.IsPinnedToNameSpaceTree to 0
  8. o

  9. Right click the taskbar > Task Manager
  10. o

  11. Click: More details
  12. o

  13. Right click: Windows Explorer > Restart
  14. o

  15. It’s gone!
